I just came in from editing some head shots from my first “Girls Night Out” Home Decor Party. It was a chance to mingle with some great ladies in town(who are way too hard on themselves about their looks..they are all beautiful) and GIVE AWAY some FREE home decor items to my fantastic hostess, Rhonda. Rhonda is always great at hosting home get together’s but “Girl’s Night Out” has a twist. Instead of cleaning your house and kicking out your hubby, you bring your friends to the studio. There we visit, eat( of course) and each guest gets a free “head” shot to use on facebook, blog, email, etc. The sales from the evening (both photography AND home decor) count towards the hostess rewards! It was fun not to be editing, or paperwork, but to mingle with good company and call it work. Thanks Rhonda! Well done!

How lucky am I? I am now carrying a fantastic print by local artist Heather Jaques. She has been a bit of a mentor to me, a great friend, and she has produced this print of the Cardston Alberta Temple. It is a photography, artistically produced and printed , mounted and laminated , then framed to complete the vintage look. This print is also available in a variety of sizes and in Gallery Wrapped Canvases. I really love being able to carry this in my store, as it has both religious and historical meaning in this area.
